Hunan Home-Style Pork and Peppers Stir-Fry

Pork Marinade

  • 200 g Pork Belly skinless, sliced
  • 1 tsp Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Sweet Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Shaoxing Wine
  • 200 g Anaheim Peppers
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 1/8 tsp Sugar
  • Oil


  • Mix Pork belly, Cornflour, Sweet Dark Soy Sauce, Light Soy Sauce and Shaoxing Wine in a bowl. Massage the sauce mixture into the pork
  • Leave for 15-30 mins
  • Slice peppers as shown in the video
  • Add oil to a pan. High heat
  • Add peppers and stir fry until lightly charred. Tranfer to a plate
  • Add oil to a pan. High heat
  • Add garlic and lightly fry
  • Add the marinated pork and stir fry until lightly charred
  • Add peppers and Light soy sauce. Mix well
  • Add sugar. Mix well
  • Serve
